PCU/IMC/Stepdown RN in Denton, Texas

Join a dedicated trauma stepdown unit as a travel RN in Denton, Texas, where you'll be critical in caring for patients recovering from diverse surgical interventions including trauma, vascular, orthopedic, and neuro surgeries. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, offering you the chance to experience the dynamic environment of a Level 2 trauma center with a high patient acuity. You'll work alongside a team of experienced staff on the 5th floor of Medical City Denton, managing patient ratios of 1:4 with some variability and utilizing Meditech EMR. Your role will focus on acute post-op recovery, stabilization of trauma patients, and management of complex cardiac and respiratory conditions. This is your opportunity to apply your trauma and orthopedic expertise, with preferred experience in Meditech and trauma care, while experiencing a setting that fosters teamwork and adaptability.
