This opportunity is for a registered nurse eager to expand expertise in palliative care within a hospital setting. You will work on the 11th floor, providing symptom management for patients undergoing serious illnesses. The role involves floating between medical-surgical units, focusing on alleviating symptoms such as uncontrolled pain and severe nausea, aiming to improve patients’ quality of life. The schedule is composed of 12-hour night shifts, offering a unique chance to gain high-acuity care experience during overnight hours. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to various units and possess EPIC experience to navigate electronic health records efficiently. Previous travel experience is preferred but not required.
