Job description
Join our team as an RN in Medical/Surgical Telemetry at a reputable community hospital in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a well-respected facility that is Joint Commission Accredited, with 171 beds and a dedicated adult/geriatric patient population. You’ll be handling a telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:6, providing care for surgical patients, total joint cases, ACS, and those with acute or chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, and more. The 12-hour day shifts span 36 hours a week over 13 weeks, with floating to other units such as IMC and ED as needed. The role requires recent acute care experience, at least two years of RN practice, ACLS certification, and a compassionate, positive attitude. This assignment allows you to experience the serene mountain and lake scenery of Lake Havasu while working in a facility that is well-equipped with advanced equipment including Baxter IV pumps, Zoll defibrillators, and Medhost EHR.
