Med/Surg RN in Peoria, Illinois

This 15-week assignment places you in the adult medical-surgical unit of a busy hospital in Peoria, Illinois. Working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, you will be responsible for delivering care to a diverse patient population with diagnoses ranging from sepsis and dehydration to behavioral health and respiratory failure. The role involves managing complex cases such as patients with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. You will also assist with the administration of inhalers, suctioning, and monitoring telemetry systems that are remotely observed. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in an acute care environment emphasizing professionalism, quick problem-solving, and adaptability. Your hands-on work will be complemented by access to a well-coordinated team, including charge RNs and PCTs, ensuring comprehensive support throughout each shift.
