Job description
Join the team at Central Maine Hospital in Lewiston, ME, as a dedicated RN in the Emergency Department. This 13-week travel contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, providing critical care to a diverse patient population—from pediatrics to geriatrics—in a Level 2 trauma center. You'll be responsible for interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, ventilated patients, and performing triage in a fast-paced environment. The unit is equipped with advanced tools such as US, neuro tele, and Care Aware handheld devices, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver top-tier patient care. This role will also require floating to ED holding areas, so flexibility is key. If you're a passionate RN with at least 2 years of emergency experience and current ACLS, BCLS, PALS, NIH, and TNCC certifications, this assignment could be a perfect fit. Experience working in a non-trauma emergency setting and managing complex cases will help you thrive in this role. The hospital’s commitment to excellent care and community health makes this a rewarding professional chapter.
