Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing hands-on support during critical moments such as active labor, birth, and postpartum recovery, with a patient load that allows for focused, 1:1 attention when necessary. If you have charge experience, you’ll find this role even more rewarding, but it’s not a must.
