ICU/CCU/Critical Care RN in Fairfield, California

Join a travel clinical nurse (RN) contract in Fairfield, California, supporting a 12-hour nights schedule for an 8-week assignment. In this role, you’ll deliver safe, effective, quality nursing care using Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring and Relationship Based Care, applying a professional nursing practice model to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for your assigned patients. You’ll build therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team—translating assessment findings into nursing diagnoses, developing collaborative care plans, and adjusting them based on response to treatment. You’ll also demonstrate safe equipment, medication, and instrumentation use, provide education to patients and families, delegate and supervise according to scope, and act as an advocate in coordination with physicians and allied team members. The assignment is based in a department on AWS, with the expectation that you may float to a sister facility as needed.
