CVICU RN in Baltimore, Maryland

Join us in this exciting CVICU RN contract, where you'll be at the forefront of advanced cardiac care. This role offers the opportunity to work within a 15-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including cardiogenic shock, arrhythmias, and post-surgical support. Expect a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts, mixing night and day hours, with a focus on stable but acute cases. Your expertise with devices like Impella and IABP will be instrumental, and you'll have the chance to work with specialized equipment such as VADs, CRRT machines, and cooling devices. This assignment is unique for its combination of challenging cases and collaborative team environment, all in a setting that values your skill and readiness to adapt.
