Job description
Join a fast-paced MICU as a registered nurse on a 13-week night shift contract, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. You'll be part of a highly skilled team providing bedside care in a 40-bed high-acuity ICU setting, performing procedures such as endoscopy, bronchoscopy, trach, and G-tube placements. This role offers you the opportunity to work with advanced equipment including ICP monitoring and arterial lines, and to recover patients immediately post-procedure. Be prepared for floating across multiple locations in Dayton, including Main, South, and North campuses, supporting various specialized units, including COVID and high-risk respiratory care. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses with at least 1.5 years in a large hospital setting, comfortable interpreting cardiac strips, and willing to work every other weekend and holiday.
