Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Wyoming, IL seeking Vertical Mill Operators to join their team. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Vertical Mill Operators to operate CNC and/or manual vertical milling machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have machining experience, a commitment to quality, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate vertical milling machines according to work instructions and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Load materials and monitor machine operations
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate production records
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Previous machining or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance and positive attitude
