Machine Operator

Location: Toluca, IL
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: 20.00 Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a growing manufacturer in Toluca, IL and is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a production environment, have strong attention to detail, and are committed to producing a quality product.

Responsibilities:

• Perform machine set-ups and make minor equipment adjustments as needed
• Operate packaging and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor product quality and identify acceptable and unacceptable products based on customer specifications
• Complete equipment washdowns and product changeovers
• Ensure production runs meet quality and efficiency standards
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety requirements
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Communicate production concerns to supervisors and team members

Requirements:

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP programs, or willingness to learn
• Basic math skills to calculate material quantities and production requirements
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
