Mailroom Specialist-2nd Shift

Employment Solutions is currently seeking a dependable Mailroom Specialist to assist a busy insurance company located in Florence, SC area.  Ideal candidate will be organized, and team oriented. 

Schedule: 
Monday to Friday 4pm-12:30am 
 
Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Title: Mail Services Specialist
Job Summary:
The Mail Services Specialist is responsible for supporting daily mail operations, including processing incoming and outgoing mail and handling electronic mail. This role plays a key part in ensuring mail is prepared, scanned, and distributed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Open, prepare, and scan incoming mail
• Prepare and process incoming electronic mail (E-Prep/FTP)
• Process outbound mail using postal equipment such as mail inserters, postage meters, and computers
• Handle outgoing overnight packages as needed
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
• Basic computer skills
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills
• Flexible and able to handle changing assignments
• Ability to learn and follow multiple policies and procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• May require prolonged standing, sitting, and repetitive tasks
• Regular lifting and movement of mail and packages
