Forklift Associate

Our client is growing like crazy, and we are hiring new folks for our team! We're currently seeking Forklift Operators for a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing facility in Portland, TN. This role plays a key part in processing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately while keeping inventory organized and operations running smoothly. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating heavy machinery in a high-volume production environment. Location: Portland, TN 37148Pay Schedule: Weekly payShift Schedules & Pay:

• Weekday Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | $18.50/hr
• Weekday Night Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM | $20.50/hr
• Weekend Day Shift | Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | $21.50/hr
• Weekend Night Shift | Friday–Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | $22.50/hr

 Job Responsibilities:

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Inspect products for defects and damage.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other heavy warehouse machinery as required.
• Use RF scanner to track inventory, shipments, and warehouse activity.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
• Abide by all company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend, and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 lbs at a time.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
• Specific vision abilities required — close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.

 Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Proven warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems.
• High attention to detail and strong self-motivation skills.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Team player with strong organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
