Forklift Material Handler

Our client is growing like crazy, and we are hiring new folks for our team! We're currently seeking Material Handlers & Warehouse Associates for a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Portland, TN. This role plays a key part in warehouse operations, inventory management, and keeping production moving safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute in a team-driven environment. Multiple shifts available. Location: Portland, TN 37148Pay Rate: $17.00 – $22.50/hr, based on experience and shiftPay Schedule: Weekly pay Shift Schedules & Pay: Material Handler — Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required

• Weekday 1st Shift | $17.00/hr
• Weekday 3rd Shift | $19.00/hr
• Weekend 1st Shift | $20.00/hr
• Weekend 3rd Shift | $21.00/hr

 Warehouse Associate — Minimum 2 years of forklift experience required

• Weekday 1st Shift | $18.50/hr
• Weekday 3rd Shift | $20.50/hr
• Weekend 1st Shift | $21.50/hr
• Weekend 3rd Shift | $22.50/hr

 Job Responsibilities:

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Organize and maintain inventory throughout the shift.
• Inspect products for defects and damage.
• Examine incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Use RF scanner to track inventory, shipments, and warehouse activity.
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily.
• Abide by all company safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, bend, and/or squat for 10+ hours in a day.
• Must be able to lift up to 25–50 lbs at a time.
• Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
• Specific vision abilities required — close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility environment.

 Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience required; 2+ years preferred for Warehouse Associate rate.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Proven warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
• High attention to detail and strong self-motivation skills.
• Team player with strong organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
