Part-Time Quality Associate

Our client is growing like crazy, and we are hiring new folks for our team! We're currently seeking Part-Time Quality Operators for a fast-paced meat processing facility in Opelika, AL. This role is responsible for verifying product weights and monitoring packaging quality to ensure every finished box meets production standards. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, accurate, and comfortable working in a cold production environment.

Pay Rate: $14.00/hr (1st Shift) | $15.00/hr (2nd Shift)

• 1st Shift A | 6:30 AM – 10:45 AM | $14.00/hr
• 1st Shift B | 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM | $14.00/hr
• 2nd Shift A | 2:30 PM – 6:45 PM | $15.00/hr
• 2nd Shift B | 7:00 PM – 11:30 PM | $15.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify proper weight of finished boxed product throughout the shift.
• Monitor packaging quality and flag any product that does not meet standards.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all safety procedures.
• Wear required PPE — rubber gloves, plastic apron/sleeves, bump hat, eye and ear protection.
• Stand and walk for the full shift in temperatures of 35–45°F (occasionally below 10°F).
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of Quality Control experience in a production setting required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Must be at least the age of 18 years old.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
