Electrical Superintendent Duties & Responsibilities

• Work closely with project General Superintendent and Project Managers
• Travel as needed to different jobs assigned by General Superintendent/Project Managers
• Maintain direct contact with GC and other subcontractors, including the management of material and manpower
• Responsible for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards on job sites
• Communicate, schedule, and manage day to day operations to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on designated scope

Electrical Superintendent Qualifications

• 3- 5 years’ experience in a General Foreman position with an electrical contractor or 2 years in an Electrical Superintendent position with electrical contractor
• Experience with commercial projects
• Must be able to pass a drug and background test
• Must have stable work history
• Software: MS Office
• Prefer local candidates, however, for the right candidate will consider relocation.
• Must have safety certifications (OSHA)

Preferred but Not Necessary

• Journeyman License or Degree
