Job description
Job Description
Join a 13-week travel assignment as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will care for a broad adult and pediatric emergency population, supporting cases ranging from respiratory illness, stroke, acute MI, behavioral health, and uncontrolled diabetes to minor trauma and emergency stabilization. This busy emergency setting offers exposure to a wide range of acuities, with support from paramedics, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social work, advanced practice providers, and physicians.
The schedule is built around 12-hour night shifts, making this a strong fit for an experienced ED nurse who is comfortable working independently after dark. Regional floating may be required within the scope of practice, including nearby emergency and acute-care locations. Candidates should have at least two years of emergency department experience and hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications; TNCC is preferred. Required skills include cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, peripheral IV starts, thrombolytic administration, and conscious sedation. Think of it as a Charlotte assignment with plenty of clinical variety—plus free parking.
