Job description
Join a Pediatric Clinic in Winston-Salem as a Nurse Navigator for a 13-week contract, working 8-hour days. In this role, you will focus on phone triage and in-basket management for children and adolescents up to 18 years old, addressing diagnoses such as asthma, reflux, IBD, and more. The position involves supporting patients with established conditions through electronic medical records and remote communication channels, providing a focused and specialized experience in pediatric subspecialties without direct in-person interactions. You'll collaborate with a team of RN Navigators, supported by MAs and supervisors, in a well-equipped clinic setting on the 7th floor of the hospital’s Pediatric Clinic, located within WFB hospital. This assignment offers a chance to hone your pediatric and triage skills in a structured, team-oriented environment, all while enjoying the vibrant community of Winston-Salem.
