Job description
Job Description
Step into a 13-week ICU Registered Nurse contract in Plainview, Texas, providing bedside care for critically ill adult patients in a rural acute-care setting. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., caring for an ICU assignment typically ranging from 1:2 to 1:3 based on acuity. This role may float between the ICU and Med-Surg units when ICU census is low, with only a limited assignment or care-support duties on Med-Surg as needed. You will not be assigned as Charge Nurse, and no on-call coverage is required.
Weekend availability is required, including six weekend shifts per schedule period. Candidates should have prior ICU experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. First-time travelers are welcome, making this a practical opportunity to bring your ICU expertise to a close-knit rural setting.
