Job Description
Join a 14-week travel contract as an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Lexington, Kentucky. This assignment is designed for an OR RN with Level 1 experience, at least three years of recent operating room experience, and BLS certification. You will work across multiple specialty areas, including total joints, orthopedic spine, gynecology, and minimally invasive surgery. The regular schedule is five 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
The assignment also includes rotating call coverage. Weekday call runs from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, while weekend call runs from 7:00 AM Saturday through 7:00 AM Monday, with a 40-minute response time. During the first six weeks, expect two to three weekday call shifts; the following six-week period includes one weekend call rotation. You may also sign up in advance for late coverage when the operating room schedule runs beyond planned staffing needs.
