Job Description
Join a cardiovascular ICU team in Jersey City for a 13-week travel contract on the night shift. This assignment is designed for an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse who can care for fresh cardiac open-heart surgical patients and manage complex cardiovascular therapies, including CABG, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, TAVR, and valve replacements. Patient assignments follow acuity-based regulations, with fresh open-heart patients receiving 1:1 care.
You may float to the CCU, CTICU, ICU, or stepdown unit. The schedule includes every other weekend, and clinicians must work or provide on-call coverage for applicable winter holidays. Epic charting, royal blue scrubs, ACLS, BLS, and Stroke CEUs are required. First-time travelers are welcome, making this an opportunity to bring strong cardiac experience to a new setting while keeping your nights focused and your skills sharp.
