Job description
Job Description
Join an Intermediate Care/Intermediate Intensive Care team in Columbia as a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You will care for adult trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology patients who require frequent monitoring and interventions, including patients transferred from the ICU or escalated by Rapid Response Teams. This role includes cardiac and telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia management, emergency response, ventilator care, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips. With a typical 1:3 ratio, the assignment is well suited to an experienced critical care nurse who enjoys managing complex cases—think of it as keeping several clinical puzzle pieces moving in the right direction.
Applicants must have critical care experience, at least one completed travel assignment, and experience with EPIC. An active South Carolina or multistate license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Agency nurses may float to other qualified units or campuses as needed.
