Emergency Room RN Contract Job Details

• Specialty: Emergency Room Nursing / Emergency Department RN
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Availability: Must be available to work day, evening, and night shifts throughout the contract
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 14, 2026
• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Requirements

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Ability to work day, evening, and night shifts as needed during the 13-week nursing contract
• Availability to work every other weekend
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, communication, and patient-care skills

Emergency Room RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a variety of urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and identify changes requiring immediate intervention
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established standards of care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Prioritize and coordinate care in a high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and transitions of care
