ICU RN Job Details

• Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care Registered Nurse
• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
• Healthcare Setting: On-site intensive care unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work day, evening, and night shifts during the assignment
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,090–$2,200

ICU Registered Nurse Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent intensive care unit or critical care nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for practice in Pennsylvania
• Willingness and ability to work day, evening, and night shifts throughout the 13-week assignment
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Strong critical-thinking, patient assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

ICU Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
• Continuously assess patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor vital signs, hemodynamic status, laboratory results, and patient responses to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate critical care
