Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment is designed for an experienced ICU nurse caring for high-acuity patients in a six-bed intensive care unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts, typically caring for two patients, with occasional 1:1 and 3:1 assignments. The unit uses continuous EEG, Arctic Sun therapy, and new GE ICU monitors, with procedures including central and arterial line placement assistance, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation support. The schedule includes 36 hours per week and every other weekend, with occasional floating to the ICU overflow unit. ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required. Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs are required. This assignment offers the chance to support an expanding ICU service line—night-shift excellence with a little room for moonlight.
