Job Description:
This travel assignment is designed for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical, surgical, coronary, neuro, and trauma needs. The role includes managing high-risk neuro and trauma interventions, interpreting and treating dysrhythmias, managing multisystem organ dysfunction, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. Nurses should be comfortable with IABP, CRRT, EVD, and Arctic Sun or cooling blanket management. The schedule is three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with every other weekend required. Travelers may float to IMC or other appropriate critical-care areas within their scope and competency.
