Job description

Job Description:

Join a travel healthcare contract as a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse in an adult acute-care setting. You will care for patients with medical and telemetry needs, including respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and other acute or chronic conditions. The team-based care model brings together bedside RNs, virtual nurses, LPNs, nursing assistants, care technicians, and other support staff so each professional can work within their scope and contribute to coordinated care. Travelers should be prepared to float frequently within their scope to support staffing needs. Responsibilities may include managing titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wounds, high oxygen delivery systems, and post-procedure care. Epic charting experience, BLS, and at least two years of telemetry experience are required.

Weather:

Omaha typically offers crisp, cool air, comfortable afternoons, and colorful seasonal scenery during this time of year. Temperatures can vary throughout the day, with occasional rain and chilly mornings, so layers and a light jacket are useful.

Fun Things To Do:

• City outing: Explore the Old Market’s shops, restaurants, galleries, and historic streets.

• City outing: Visit the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium for indoor and outdoor exhibits.

• City outing: Walk through Lauritzen Gardens and enjoy its seasonal displays.

• Day trip: Spend a day in Lincoln exploring its museums, restaurants, and downtown district.

• Day trip: Travel west to the Loess Hills for scenic drives, overlooks, and outdoor recreation.
