ICU/CCU/Critical Care RN in Newburgh, Indiana

Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as an ICU Registered Nurse providing overnight care for critically ill adults in a neuro-focused intensive care setting. You will care for general ICU and post-stroke patients, as well as patients with sepsis, DKA, respiratory distress, post-code conditions, CRRT needs, and neurological drains or ventriculostomies. The role includes detailed neurological assessments, NIHSS and dysphagia screening, telemetry and 12-lead EKG interpretation, ventilator management, sepsis protocols, and initiation or titration of sedative, paralytic, cardiac, and vasoactive infusions. Expect a 12-hour night schedule, a typical 1:3 ratio, and the opportunity to care for increasingly acute neuro patients as you become established. Travelers may float within their skill set to nearby campuses, so flexibility is part of the assignment.
