Job Description:
Join a 13-week travel assignment as a Neuro ICU Registered Nurse working overnight shifts in Newburgh, Indiana. You will care for critically ill adults with general ICU and complex neurological needs, including post-stroke patients, sepsis, DKA, respiratory distress, post-code recovery, CRRT, drains, biopsies, and ventriculostomies. The role includes neurological assessments, NIHSS and dysphagia screening, telemetry and 12-lead EKG interpretation, ventilator management, sepsis protocols, and titration of sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, and vasoactive medications. Travelers may float within their skill set to nearby campuses with advance notice and may precept students or new hires. Recent EPIC experience, strong critical-care judgment, and the ability to manage changing patient needs are required.
