Job description
This 13-week travel assignment is for an experienced ICU registered nurse supporting patients with complex medical and neurological conditions. On 12-hour night shifts, you will care for patients with post-stroke complications, sepsis, DKA, respiratory distress, post-code needs, CRRT, drains, biopsies, and ventriculostomies. The role requires confident neurological assessments, NIHSS and dysphagia screening, telemetry and 12-lead EKG interpretation, ventilator management, sepsis protocols, and the ability to initiate and titrate sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, and vasoactive medications. Recent EPIC experience is required, along with strong critical-thinking skills and prior ICU and travel experience. Expect a collaborative team, a teaching-hospital setting, and the occasional opportunity to float within your skill set—because even night shift nurses sometimes get a change of scenery.
