ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 1 year of recent ICU, critical care, or acute care nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize care for critically ill patients
• Current professional credentials and successful completion of required license verification
• Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts weekly, including rotating weekends and holidays
• Completion of required facility orientation, skills validation, and onboarding requirements

Travel ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, monitor clinical status, and promptly identify changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Respond effectively to changes in patient acuity and participate in emergency interventions
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic health record documentation and communicate relevant updates during handoff
• Support patients and families with clear, compassionate communication throughout the critical care experience
