Job description

Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment offers a registered nurse the opportunity to provide direct care for young adults, middle adults, and older adults in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring care plans, assessing patient conditions, carrying out physician and nursing orders, coordinating care across disciplines, and supporting discharge planning. The role calls for sound clinical judgment, decisive decision-making, and the ability to work independently during 12-hour day shifts. Austin adds a welcoming mix of city energy, outdoor spaces, and Texas character to the assignment.

Weather:

Austin typically offers comfortable temperatures, plenty of sunshine, and generally pleasant conditions during this time of year. Occasional cool fronts and brief rain showers may pass through, so light layers and a rain jacket are useful.

Fun Things To Do:

• Outdoor escape: Explore the trails, overlooks, and natural scenery around the Barton Creek Greenbelt.

• Local culture: Visit the Texas State Capitol and stroll through downtown Austin.

• Live music: Enjoy Austin’s renowned live music venues and entertainment districts.

• Day trip: Spend a day in San Antonio exploring the River Walk, historic sites, and local restaurants.

• Day trip: Visit Fredericksburg for small-town shopping, regional food, and Hill Country scenery.
