Job Description:
This travel assignment is for a CVICU Registered Nurse caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac and critical-care needs. You will manage conditions such as cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced therapy workups. The role includes caring for patients supported by IABP, Impella, VAD, CRRT, ventilators, and targeted temperature management.
The assignment offers rotating day and night shifts with opportunities to use advanced skills in bedside central and arterial-line insertions, bronchoscopy, chest-tube placement, Swan-Ganz and pulmonary artery catheter insertions, and other CVICU procedures. First-time travelers may be considered with strong CVICU experience, including IABP and Impella expertise.
