Job Description:
This 13-week travel contract is designed for an experienced registered nurse supporting critically ill cardiovascular and medical-surgical ICU patients on a night schedule. The role includes caring for patients recovering from cardiac surgery, cardiac catheterization, vascular procedures, MI, CHF, respiratory failure, sepsis, renal failure, and multisystem organ failure. You will manage ventilated patients, CRRT, ECMO, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz monitoring, arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive and cardiac drips, sedation, blood products, and advanced respiratory support. The schedule offers 3x12-hour nights with individualized scheduling considerations, including block scheduling when possible. First-time travelers are welcome, and floating may be required across affiliated campuses.
