Job Description:
Provide specialized nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients in a NICU and pediatric setting. This 13-week travel assignment features rotating day and night shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week, and every-other-weekend coverage. Care may include supporting patients with prematurity, apnea of prematurity, retinopathy of prematurity, chronic lung disease, cardiac defects, feeding concerns, neonatal abstinence syndrome, tracheostomies, ventilators, PICCs, and TPN/IL. First-time travelers are welcome, and experience with pediatric patients and trach/vent care is required. Weekend and holiday coverage is scheduled as needed, with floating within specialty or sister units when necessary.
