• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour night shifts
• Shift Hours: Approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.

• Weekend Coverage: Required

• Electronic Medical Record: Epic charting experience required

Telemetry Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license held in hand at the time of application
• At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience, including telemetry or medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Demonstrated Epic charting experience documented in professional work history
• Experience interpreting and managing cardiac dysrhythmias
• Ability to care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and floating assignments as needed
• Two supervisor references may be requested during the application process

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care for telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes in patient condition
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, escalating concerns promptly to the appropriate care team
• Administer medications and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips according to facility protocols
• Perform focused assessments, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Provide care related to cardiac procedures, including pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and angiogram care
• Manage IV access, central lines, PICCs, ports, feeding tubes, drains, oxygen therapies, and other required clinical equipment
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams during changes in patient status
• Complete accurate, timely documentation in Epic
• Float to appropriate units and support weekend coverage based on staffing needs
