MRI Technologist Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Setting: Hospital MRI department
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,170–$2,330
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks, with flexible contract lengths of approximately 13–26 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Shift: 8-hour days
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call, Weekends, and Holidays: Not required
• Travelers: First-time travelers are welcome

MRI Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of MRI Technologist experience; candidates should be prepared to meet applicable travel assignment experience requirements
• Active ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT MR)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Recent experience operating Siemens MRI scanners, including Vida, Aera, Skyra, or Avanto systems
• Experience performing routine neurological, body, and musculoskeletal MRI examinations
• Active credentials and required compliance documentation must be completed before the assignment begins
• Ability to complete required health screening and facility orientation requirements

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with established imaging protocols and patient safety standards
• Operate Siemens MRI equipment and appropriately adjust protocols for routine neurological, body, and musculoskeletal studies
• Screen patients for MRI safety, contraindications, implants, and relevant medical history before examinations
• Explain procedures clearly, promote patient comfort, and monitor patients throughout examinations
• Prepare, position, and safely transfer patients while maintaining accurate imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other members of the care team to support efficient patient flow
• Follow infection prevention, magnetic-field safety, applicable imaging safety, quality assurance, and department policies
