Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Unit: 24-bed medical telemetry unit with private rooms
• Patient Population: Adult medical patients
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; every other weekend
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 13, 2026
• Charting System: Epic
• Work Environment: On-site; floating may be required

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience, preferably in medical-surgical telemetry
• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to accurately interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Strong patient assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced inpatient setting

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical patients on a 24-bed telemetry unit
• Continuously monitor patients and interpret cardiac telemetry strips, promptly escalating changes in condition
• Complete patient assessments, administer medications, perform treatments, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care accurately in Epic
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment while supporting patient education and discharge planning
• Float to other appropriate units as needed to support patient care operations
