Job Description:
This 13-week travel assignment is for a Registered Nurse with Med/Surg experience. You will care for adult patients with conditions including COPD, CHF, diabetes, infections, electrolyte imbalances, altered mental status, sepsis workups, and post-general surgery needs. The role includes tracheostomy care, chest tube management, peripheral IV starts, Foley care, central line care, dialysis and BiPAP patient management, and heparin drips. Nurses work 12-hour shifts with every-other-weekend rotation, holiday rotation, and no call. First-time travelers are welcome, and floating may occur to other Med/Surg areas for appropriate assignments.
