This is an excellent opportunity for skilled OR nurses with cardiovascular experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced surgical environment and providing exceptional patient care.
Position Details
- Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)
- Openings: 2 Full-Time Positions
- Contract Dates: November 22, 2026 – February 20, 2027
- Shift: Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Schedule: Monday–Friday

Call Requirements:
- Five 16-hour weekday call shifts per 4-week schedule
- Two full weekends of call (48 hours each) per 4-week schedule
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams throughout cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical instruments, and equipment.
- Monitor patient safety and maintain strict sterile technique.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond to scheduled call requirements and emergency surgical cases.
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous CVOR experience required.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and operating room protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to meet weekday, weekend, and holiday call requirements as needed.
