Travel Nursing Job Details

• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600

Travel RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts at the time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• Experience in a trauma hospital or similar acute-care hospital setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Flu vaccination required before the start date
• Submit all requested time-off dates with the application

Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients requiring medical-surgical treatment and telemetry monitoring
• Assess patient conditions, identify changes in clinical status, and communicate concerns promptly
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and other telemetry data, escalating abnormal findings appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Support safe transitions of care through patient and family education and discharge planning
