Job Description:
Provide specialized care as a PCU Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Kansas City. You will care for progressive-care patients with cardiac, neurological, respiratory, renal, and post-surgical needs while working night shifts in a stepdown setting. Responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia management, cardiac drip titration, IV therapy, central and peripheral line care, wound care, chest tube management, oxygen support, and rapid response participation. The assignment includes floating within your scope to other medical-surgical and intermediate-care areas, with occasional support for emergency department inpatients. ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; nurses with two or more years of experience are preferred, and first-time travelers are welcome.
