Job Description:
This travel contract is for a Registered Nurse supporting a hospital-based medical-surgical unit in Hendersonville. You will care for a diverse patient population, including general medical-surgical, post-surgical, bariatric, and some oncology patients. Responsibilities include assessing patients, coordinating individualized plans of care, administering treatments, documenting responses, supporting discharge planning, and providing education to patients and families. The assignment includes 12-hour night shifts, with every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage. Oncology care is present but limited, and chemotherapy is typically not managed on this unit.
