Travel Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710–$2,920
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks
• Start Date: November 23, 2026
• Schedule: 8-hour variable day shifts
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Shift Times: 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. or 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• On-Call: Minimum of one call shift per week; weekends and holidays as needed, with a 30-minute response time
• Orientation: 8 hours
• Work Setting: On-site hospital environment
• Travel Requirement: Candidates must meet the applicable 50-mile travel requirement

Cath Lab Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent Cath Lab Technologist or cardiovascular technologist experience
• Associate degree or approved technical certificate
• Either ARRT certification with a Wisconsin Radiographer license or RCIS certification
• Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated proficiency scrubbing interventional radiology, cardiac catheterization, and structural heart procedures
• Experience with cath lab, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and vascular cases
• Ability to float within the facility and to affiliated locations according to operational needs
• Ability to participate in required call, weekend, and holiday rotations
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, supplies, and patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Scrub and assist with cath lab, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, vascular, and structural heart cases
• Maintain sterile technique and support physicians and the procedural team throughout each case
• Monitor and appropriately handle specialized cardiovascular equipment and supplies
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe, efficient patient care
• Float to other departments or affiliated facilities within the required skill set when assigned
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekend and holiday assignments as needed
