CT Technologist Job Details

• Location: Portage, Wisconsin
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital-based CT and radiology department
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel healthcare contract
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,690–$2,890
• Guaranteed Hours: 80 hours biweekly, approximately 40 hours per week
• Primary Shift: 8-hour evening shift, approximately 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Variable 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts may be available across days, evenings, and nights
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every-other-weekend rotation and holiday rotation
• CT Technology: GE 64-slice VCT CT scanner
• Radiography Equipment: GE, Siemens, and Philips equipment
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic
• Additional Assignment Expectations: May float to other regional locations and an orthopedic outpatient unit on campus; on-call availability may be required based on department census

CT Technologist Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• At least 1 year of diagnostic X-ray or radiologic technology experience
• Current Wisconsin license or eligibility to practice as required for the assignment
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Associate degree or approved radiologic technology certificate
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call assignments
• Willingness to float within the designated regional service area

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography (CT) examinations and diagnostic radiographic procedures according to established protocols
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, verify clinical information, and promote patient comfort and safety
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment while maintaining appropriate radiation safety practices
• Evaluate image quality and repeat or modify studies when clinically appropriate
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other imaging professionals
• Support CT and radiology services across assigned departments or regional locations when needed
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage according to the assignment schedule
