Shipping Clerk – $16/hour – Wilmington, NC
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Solutions is seeking a dependable Shipping Clerk to join a reputable production company in the Wilmington area! This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers steady weekday hours, a supportive work environment, and long-term growth potential.
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:

Process customer orders for shipment using ERP systems (SAP), including both pallet and small-package orders.

Calculate and apply freight charges accurately to customer invoices.

Prepare and process packages using UPS and FedEx shipping software.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of all outgoing shipments.

Determine the most efficient shipping methods based on company procedures, routes, and rates.

Verify quantities, weights, and measurements to ensure shipments match orders and invoices.

Label and verify all cartons and pallets with correct shipping information.

Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.

Assist and support team members in preparing and staging outbound shipments.
Requirements:

Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse logistics preferred.

Skilled in operating forklifts and standard warehouse equipment.

Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP experience highly preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
