Quality Control Rework Technician Job Summary A leading bicycle manufacturer in Ogden, Utah is hiring a Quality Control Rework Technician at $18.00/hour on a steady Monday-Friday day shift. This is hands-on, detail-focused work where you'll help ensure premium bicycle components meet exacting finish standards — with a clear path to permanent hire for the right person. What You'll Do 

• Remove surface imperfections from finished bicycle rims using precision hand tools
• Perform detailed visual inspections of composite frames and components for blemishes, voids, and surface defects
• Sand and buff components by hand to achieve smooth, flawless finishes on high-end parts
• Mix hardeners and fillers to specification and apply to components as needed
• Re-sand treated areas after drying to confirm surface quality meets standards
• Maintain consistent quality output to support daily production targets
• Work closely with the production team to flag and resolve quality issues quickly

 What You Bring Required 

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Comfortable using hand tools in a production setting
• Ability to lift heavy components on a regular basis
• Sharp eye for detail — you notice what others miss

 Preferred 

• Experience with sanding, buffing, or surface finishing work
• Familiarity with composite materials or bicycle components
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing ratios
