CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist  A precision manufacturing company in Ogden, UT is hiring a day CNC Machinists at $18-$30/hour Whether you're just starting out or bringing years of experience to the table, this is a full-time opportunity where your attention to detail and technical skills will be put to real use.  What You'll Do 

• Inspect CNC machinery before each run to confirm it's in proper working order
• Set up machines, cutting tools, holding fixtures, and accessories according to job specifications
• Monitor active runs throughout each cycle, adjusting speeds and settings as needed
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure parts meet exact tolerances
• Use precision measuring tools — including micrometers and calipers — to perform quality checks
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep your work area clean and organized
• Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to management immediately

 What You Bring Required

• 1+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar machining role
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow diagrammed instructions
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
• High school diploma or GED

 Preferred

• Experience modifying or writing CNC programs
• Familiarity with production scheduling and meeting output targets
• Willingness to work overtime when production demands it
