Painter — Sheet Metal Fabrication Job Summary We're hiring an experienced Painter for a well-established sheet metal fabrication shop in North Salt Lake, Utah. This swing shift role pays $17.00–$21.00/hour depending on experience, with a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule and a 10-hour day that keeps your weekends free. What You'll Do 

• Apply paint finishes to fabricated sheet metal products including carpet cleaning trucks, water filtration systems, and custom fabrication work
• Perform finishing touches on completed products to ensure quality appearance and consistency
• Inspect painted surfaces and correct imperfections before products leave the shop
• Follow safe painting practices in an active warehouse environment
• Use basic math and measuring skills to prep and mask surfaces accurately
• Work independently and manage your time to meet production deadlines
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and compliant with shop safety standards

 What You Bring Required 

• Previous painting experience in a shop or warehouse setting
• Familiarity with painting sheet metal or fabricated products
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision

 Preferred 

• Experience with spray painting or industrial coating systems
• Background in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
