Applicants must be able to follow specified welding procedures per ATMI and customer requirements.
TIG WELDER JOB DESCRIPTION:
TIG welders are needed to help assist with many sheet metal project. The company makes carpet cleaning trucks, water filtration systems, custom work, etc. This is in a dirty and busy warehouse. You will need to be okay doing heavy lifting and have basic math and measuring skills.
TIG WELDER JOB DUTIES:
- Looking for qualified welders in GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding, FCAW Flux Core Arc Welding for sheet metal and/or light structural steel, stainless steel, aluminum. Certified or ready to certify to AWS Standards.
- Should have own tools and personal equipment.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings and AWS welding symbols.
- Must have 2 years of trade schooling or equivalent work experience in the welding trade
- Able to lift 50+ lbs
- Previous education or schooling in welding preferred
- Able to pass a weld test
- Must be able to read and interpret engineered drawings/specifications
